Priorities

I had three things going on Wednesday night:

  1. A forecasting workshop in Norman. Why they would hold an interesting session at night beats me -- it's perfectly fine for anyone traveling here to attend, but not as comfortable for the locals. But they did and data assimilation is a topic I'm becoming very interested in.
  2. Wednesday bridge game at the club. It is difficult to get three tables together these days and it'd be hard to back out once the game is officially "on".
  3. The author Qui Xialong was speaking at the Sam Noble museum. The sinophile that I am, I'd borrowed a book of his (When Red is Black) from the public library and was looking forward to hearing him speak.
So, guess where I was on Wednesday night.
